One thing that I have learned is to do Everything for Free on the Web when one is starting a home Web Based Business. Now if you can afford certain things such as a Website Host and an Aweber Account, then by all means, please do that and do it. However, just know that many people can come out with software that is free for the asking and free for the downloading in order to load your blogs up with widgets that work just as much as the Big Gurus have taught about.
Another lesson I am learning as a Single Father is that when I do not have my son, then that is a great time to build something for his future. The faster one gets at building and advertising, as well as learning to build an email marketing list, and getting so familiar with the tools of the trade: i.e. the Blog software itself, such as Blogger, which is an excellent startup Blog for Beginners, then the faster the money will come rolling in.
I have only made a tiny bit of money...not even a dollar so far, but Google did deposit some change into my banking account to my surprise just recently.
